This is a stunning Alpaca wool sweater tote. This is a beautiful beige and brown purse. This is handmade, out of a Cowichan sweater. The inside is lined in Cotton with a little button pocket. There is no closure at the Top. This Is An Open crossbody tote bag. This cozy garment is a Fair Isle or Nordic-style sweater. It features a Fair Isle yoke, which is a traditional multicolored, circular pattern that wraps around the neck and shoulders. The pointed, geometric shapes are often referred to as a chevron or zigzag motif. The intricate graphics are achieved through a jacquard knit or stranded colorwork technique, where different colored yarns are woven directly into the fabric. Its "hairy" or fuzzy appearance is typical of a mohair or alpaca blend, providing a soft, fluffy texture. While the Fair Isle style originated in Scotland's Shetland Islands, similar geometric designs are central to Scandinavian and Icelandic (Lopapeysa) knitting traditions. This particular piece closely resembles vintage 80s and 90s styles, often categorized as a "grandpa" sweater due to its relaxed silhouette and traditional earth-toned palette.
