Stunning handmade western boots. Highly sought after collectable Zorro hand-tooled Stallion boots. The tops of the toes have scrolls that look like 1940s wallpaper. They also have woven leather cording along the tops and the ankles in a beautiful decorative fashion. The backs of the heels also have the scrolls, and the tops of the ankles have an inner zipper pocket. These are hand custom made by Tres Outlaws, El Paso, Texas. These have a pointed, squared-off toe, short stacked heel, butter soft, high quality leather. These were custom made and originally cost around $1600.
Steeped in the rich artisan heritage of West Texas, this striking pair of Tres Outlaws ankle booties beautifully balance rugged frontier character with sophisticated street style. The premium, supple caramel calfskin uppers develop a stunning natural patina over time, perfectly framed by intricate hand-tooled floral accents adorning the sharp snip toe and the gracefully scalloped collar. Running along the structural seams, contrasting dark buckstitch detailing traces the lines of the boot with poetic precision, drawing the eye down to a traditional underslung, pitched cowboy heel. Complete with a seamless inside ankle zipper for an effortlessly tailored fit, these luxury western booties offer a bold statement that seamlessly transitions from urban landscapes to the high desert plains.
These authentic Tres Outlaws Zorro ankle boots represent the peak of contemporary West Texas bootmaking artistry, spanning from the early 2000s to the current day. Handcrafted in El Paso, under the visionary direction of founder Scott Wayne Emmerich, each pair undergoes a rigorous, 200-plus step manual assembly process that treats footwear as limited-edition wearable art rather than mass-market apparel. This exact hand-tooled calfskin style originally retailed between $1,200.00 and $1,850.00, depending on the complexity of the custom leather filigree and the specific production year. Today, pre-owned Tres Outlaws boots are exceptionally scarce and fiercely hunted by western fashion collectors, allowing this sought-after Zorro silhouette in excellent condition to command an impressive resale value ranging from $650.00(low detail) to $950.00(beautiful scrolls like these).
